The Mission Society provides global missionary support through missionary recruiting, missionary training and equipping church leaders and others to lead international and short-term mission trips. Based in Norcross, GA, The Mission Society was originally formed to support Methodist missionaries, but now works with a variety of Wesleyan denominations offering missionary training, missionary seminars, missionary workshops and church leadership training throughout the United States and around the world.

Candidate Assessment and Orientation - September

Event description:

By invitation of staff, attend Candidate Assessment and Orientation (CAO), which is held several times a year in Atlanta. The candidate is responsible for the costs of Orientation, which usually totals $200 plus travel expenses. (CAO not required for interns or campus missionaries.) The four days include interaction with staff, ministry and team-building activities, interviews and a Personality Profile Assessment. Approval for missionary appointment made at the end of the week.

Application materials are due by August 1st in order to be considered for the September CAO.
