Subject: Greetings from the Datwylers

A nuestros queridos,

Please receive our love and thanks as we pray for God to continues to prosper each church and individual with all His guidance and power. We could not be here as God’s instruments and Light. Thank you!

We’ll see if I can keep this short and sweet?? We have been busy getting ready for our summer teams- the first one arrives tonight from Tulsa OK. We will have them work at the property digging out roots for the pond, putting in irrigation tubes, cleaning up lime trees, cleaning up trash left by the previous renter, maybe installing the gate and moving a fence. All this is in addition to putting on 3 day Bible schools at 2 different locations.

God just keeps blessing our socks off. We had to ask permission from the president of the community (Chaquibamba –which we finally found out is the name of the area where the property is) to do an event for the kids of the area. We have not done any work with the people there yet. Well, after saying yes, he sent us to the school to ask if we could use the playground. God is so good!! Not only can we use the facilities for 3 afternoons, the director let us enter the classrooms and pass out invitations to all 250 kids!!! Please pray for God to prepare hearts, ours and theirs. This is more than double of what we had planned for so it is time for God to multiply the crafts—how funny because the first lesson will be about when Jesus fed the 5,000. We covet your prayers for this community and the ministry with the groups.

Tim spent the entire month of May getting the car up to code and repairing a few problemitas along with an entire 10 days to get his Ecuadorian driver’s license!!! Praise God that is done. Kevin spent 10 days in Peru translating for a GA team. They worked with over 500 kids on the last day and saw many adults accept Christ throughout the week. God is on the move and it is a privilege to be in His midst. I am teaching a cooking class this afternoon with the ladies group—oatmeal cookies. Our church seems to be waking up to the opportunities we have presented to get out of the pews and into the world. Pray for a continued awakening.

I’ve got to get going,,,,,, so it did turn out short and sweet although there is much to share with you!!!  In His able hands, Tim, Daina and Kevin
