Share/Bookmark

The Mission Society’s Candidate Assessment & Orientation is an invitation-only event held several times a year in Atlanta. During this event, the candidate and the Mobilization team have the opportunity to learn more about one another. The candidates enjoy navigating a ropes course, experiencing cross-cultural dining, and engaging in experiential activities. They also interview with The Mission Society staff and meet with a professional counselor ti deepen understanding of personality preferences. Attendance is optional for interns and campus missionaries. At the end of the Candidate Assessment & Orientation, individuals are notified whether or not they have been approved for service. Field placement may be determined post-approval, guided by the Field Ministry department.
