Jim Ramsay interviewed regarding short-term missions effectiveness

Jim Ramsay was recently interviewed by several organizations regarding his latest article in Unfinished magazine. Ramsay, The Mission Society's senior director of field ministry and a former missionary to Central Asia for 10 years, has had a lot of experience on the topic.

His article, Building their future their way, discusses the pros and cons of short-term mission teams. Also included in this issue of Unfinished were two excerpts from the book When Helping Hurts: How to Alleviate Poverty without Hurting the Poor and Yourself, by Steve Corbett and Brian Fikkert. When helping hurts and First, do no harm offer advice for people who wish to help the poor - in the U.S. or overseas.
