For the past year Theresa has served as an intern in Huancayo, Peru through The Mission Society. Recently TMS extended this blessing by giving her the honor to serve as a Career Missionary.

The Lord has opened many doors which has allowed her to serve in several communities such as Tinyari, Patacocha, Iscos, Huancayo and La Merced. She has been touched by their love and kindness.

Theresa is excited to be part of God's work. Her plans for ministry are to work alongside TMS team in Huancayo, Peru and provide support wherever it is needed. She also will be working to develop strong relationships with women, young and old, who struggle with lost hopes and dreams. Knowing herself what these things can do to ones self-esteem and how the Lord can restore each lost hope, she hopes to encourage and bring to light the true and faithful promises of God and His love for them. Her future hope is to develop a home that will provide care for the abandoned children and elderly.

For her missions work is a lifetime commitment subject to the will of God as time passes. This is not the commitment that the Lord calls every person who participates in missions to make, but for her it was an integral part of her calling.

Each of us is called to missions. We may be called to connect, called to give, called to pray of called to go. Calling individuals is God's method of reaching the world. God is calling you, but how?

“The Mission” is God’s and He invites us to participate as the Body of Christ in unity “to let the world know” of His love."

Pray for Peru

That God would go before Theresa, preparing the hearts of those with whom she meets.

For physical and emotional well-being,spiritual strength,wisdom,guidance and discernment as she ministers to others.

That the love of Christ would flow out of Theres's life and she would serve as a witness in all that she does.
