The Mission Society provides global missionary support through missionary recruiting, missionary training and equipping church leaders and others to lead international and short-term mission trips. Based in Norcross, GA, The Mission Society was originally formed to support Methodist missionaries, but now works with a variety of Wesleyan denominations offering missionary training, missionary seminars, missionary workshops and church leadership training throughout the United States and around the world.

Denny Brown

Vice President for Mission Advancement
Denny Brown joined The Mission Society in February of 2003 as Vice President for Mission Advancement. Under Denny’s leadership, the Advancement department exists to support the mission of The Mission Society by mobilizing believers and churches for generous giving and personal participation in Jesus’ work around the world.

Denny and his team coordinate the energies of God’s people to fund support ministries for missionaries, field projects, training for international leaders, and local church outreach. The Advancement department provides opportunities for partners to participate in Jesus’ mission through their gifts and prayers for the ministries of The Mission Society. He oversees the communications, events, and committees that enlist, inspire, minister to, and show appreciation to those who give of the resources that God has provided to them toward the advancement of God’s kingdom.
