The Mission Society provides global missionary support through missionary recruiting, missionary training and equipping church leaders and others to lead international and short-term mission trips. Based in Norcross, GA, The Mission Society was originally formed to support Methodist missionaries, but now works with a variety of Wesleyan denominations offering missionary training, missionary seminars, missionary workshops and church leadership training throughout the United States and around the world.

Jon & Jeanne Herrin

Field: Mexico
Home State: Georgia
Children: Jesse, Megan & Andrew

The Herrins are working with the John Wesley Seminary (El Seminario Juan Wesley) in Monterrey, helping to train and equip pastors for the national church in Mexico. Jon will be teaching courses in a variety of New Testament themes, as well as in practical theology and discipleship. Jeanne will be working in various educational settings—from language learning and training to support services.

Their family will be worshiping and working in local congregations with the student pastors, welcoming mission teams, and living the Christian life in their daily walk. The Herrins joyfully go forward to this ministry, hoping to share the love and joy of Jesus Christ with the people of Monterrey and to equip the leaders of the churches to do the same.
