Steve Wilson

Ministry description:

Assistant Director of Field Ministry and International Mobilization
In this role he provides support and oversight for missionaries as well as organizes international mobilization conferences.  Steve, along with his wife Heather, and their three boys served as missionaries in Monterrey, Mexico. The Wilsons' ministry was focused on discipleship & community development in one of the poor, squatter areas of Monterrey.  He also worked with the Methodist Church to help with their mission strategy, especially in thier effort to send out missionaries internationally.   Prior to his service with The Mission Society, Steve served as a pastor and also student minister in churches in Georgia. Steve is a 1997 graduate of Asbury College with a degree in Biology, which he’s obviously not using.  In his spare time, if there is such a thing with 3 young boys, he likes to go out and enjoy good food and live music with his wife.  Occasionally you can find him camping or rock climbing, woodworking or playing soccer.
