Germany is a fairly new field for The Mission Society, opened in late 2009. A Mission Society missionary who served in Paraguay for a number of years is now serving as the senior pastor of an international church in Bonn, Germany. The church intentionally reaches out to the international community in Bonn. Germany’s 82 million people are almost equally divided between Protestant, Catholic, and “unaffiliated or other” regarding religious preference. A large segment of the population is not associated with a church.
