 Alpha SchoolsYear Began: 1995The Pereiras and their three children live in Hyderabad, India where they work with Hope for Today. The Pereiras are involved in church-planting, leadership training seminars, evangelistic campaigns, and preaching and teaching within churches. In addition, they also work with a vocational training center, medical camps and a nutritional feeding program. The Pereiras work jointly with the Mission Society and International Leadership Institute (ILI).
The Pereiras established the Alpha Schools for children who do not have the opportunity to go to school due to family circumstances. Many are forced to work from an early age to help provide for their family. The Alpha Schools sponsor the education of hundreds of children, including their supplies, uniforms, and school fees.
