AAPI Heritage Month Literary Spotlight

This Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, we’re celebrating stories that center heritage, family, and identity. Told through the voices of inspiring AAPI authors, these featured books share Chinese traditions, explore the bonds of a Vietnamese immigrant family, and celebrate Samoan dance and culture that continue to connect generations. While these books offer just a glimpse into the many cultures that make up the AAPI community, they remind us that every young reader’s heritage belongs on the bookshelf.

We hope you will join us in exploring a few AAPI stories that help young readers feel seen, connected, and proud of where they come from.
