Our Mission to Learn for Black History Month

The Mission Society is celebrating Black History Month by shining a light on the innovators, artists, and activists who have changed our world. From revolutionizing music to making ground-breaking discoveries, each of their contributions have had a profound impact on our daily lives - but their stories of ingenuity, determination, and success are often missing from our textbooks. That is why, in February and year-round, we ensure that we’re uplifting their voices, and sharing their life-changing legacies with our community.

Championing diversity and inclusivity in learning is one of our top priorities. It is a powerful way to give our students the opportunity to see themselves reflected in our classrooms, and shows them that their futures are filled with limitless possibilities. We hope that continuing to highlight these historic heroes encourages new generations of changemakers to pursue their dreams.
