Read-a-Thon Bingo

Writer: Molly MurphyMolly Murphy

During our programs, we believe it's important to set aside quiet reading time for our students. Now that young people are learning at home, we want to help parents find more ways to include reading into the homeschool routine - and recommend incorporating fun games like Read-a-Thon Bingo.

We really enjoy this unique way of helping young people engage with their books. This is also an amazing opportunity to collaborate with your child: you can make your own bingo card together with a pen and some paper and have students mark completed tasks with their favorite markers or stickers.

To get started, make your card using the original template, our ideas below, or you can come up with your own categories. Enjoy!
